M is for ... - blessings

M is for Museum and for Marco or actually for celebrating Marco's b-day visiting the Rijksmuseum on this saturday. Lovely to end a nice week this way and start the holiday with the kids.

Love the Rijksmuseum, such a great building exposing wonderful art, like the 'Nachtwacht' by Rembrandt (the kids favorite :)) but also more modern art like the Rietveld chair in white. Not being able to see the whole art collection yesterday, so considering to buy a museum card to visit it again and again, and also visiting the Marcel Wanders exhibition Pinned Up at the Stedelijk Museum soon :)

Ending our trip to Amsterdam having diner at Magnetico, the former Praq-restaurant in a red fleapit at Zeeburgereiland. Such a relaxed place to have dinner with kids.

august in december

It was on my to-go-list for such a long time, but today we actually experienced "Villa August" in december. It was a grey and cold winterday, but it felt warm and bright being there. Sharing our visit at Villa Augustus with lovely friends and all our kids. Knowing we will visit it on a sunny day (perhaps in august) some time.

PS. the neon pink christmas decoration fish left at the top of the tree (at picture nine) has moved to our X-MAS tree in Zutphen as a sweet souvenir :)

Recently I launched my first give-away in collaboration with DaWanda, an online platform for shops selling handmade, unique and sometimes individualized products.

Happy to share the Met Melk&Suiker favorites for the Sinterklaas-special on the Dutch DaWanda-site. Because the old Sint-Nicholas really needs your help to buy all the presents in time for his b-day event on December 5th*.

But be carefull, you can wander around for hours on this lovely site for your Sint-event preparation :)

And while the shops on DaWanda share products which are nice to have every event or moment of the year I will update my I-wish list every now and then!

A blessing post on monday instead of on sunday. Because of having some weeks off, the days of the week seem to get a little bit messed up which feels like a blessing itself.
Just like:
* spending so much time with the kids, sometimes while catching up with my BFF or with a lovely friend at the edge of a swimming pool while enjoying the sun
* visiting the musical Sister Act with our eldest, not only watching a beautiful and funny musical but also his facial expression of admiration and impressions
* receiving nice requests for sponsoring, collaboration and give-aways on my blog: to be continued in the next weeks!
* and last but not least enjoying so much love with a capital L!
